Terms of Service — Shimio
How Shimio works, photo permissions, credits, subscriptions and your responsibilities.
Last updated: 2026-10-24
1. About these terms
These terms govern Shimio at shimio.net, including video generation and account services. By using Shimio, you agree to these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Privacy Policy. For service, billing, privacy or content concerns, contact support@shimio.net.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. Sign-in uses Google only. Keep your Google account secure, provide accurate information and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
2. What Shimio provides
Shimio generates videos from one character photo and one reference motion video. The photo guides appearance and outfit; the reference video guides movement, timing, scene and camera behavior. You can choose 1, 2 or 4 outputs and add an optional prompt in Advanced Settings to guide the scene and style. Generation uses Viggle-Animate. Shimio is an independent service.
Output size is set automatically. The reference video guides framing and performance, and the finished duration can vary slightly. The generator displays the total credit cost for your selected number of outputs before submission. Resolution and aspect ratio are not selectable settings.
Reference videos must be 5–16 second MP4/MOV files, up to 25 MB. Character photos must be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Further technical validation applies before a request is accepted.
Generated clips include audio, but the model can alter or omit details of the reference track. Shimio does not separately copy the original audio into the final video. Facial details, clothing, anatomy, actions, framing and audio can vary. Exact likeness, choreography, soundtrack, completion time or artistic quality is not guaranteed. Homepage style concepts illustrate an aesthetic rather than a guaranteed generated result.
3. Your uploads and output
Use a photo of yourself as an adult, another consenting adult, or an original character you are entitled to use. Obtain permission for the depicted person's likeness and for the reference video, its performers and its audio. Do not upload minors, private material without permission, or content that infringes another person's rights.
You keep your rights in your uploads. You authorize us to process them to generate, check, store and deliver your requested video, and to investigate relevant support or safety reports. We do not acquire ownership of your photos or recordings.
You may download and use your output subject to these terms, necessary permissions and the rules of the destination platform. Review it before sharing and disclose that it is AI-generated. Do not present a synthetic performance as an authentic recording. AI generation does not establish copyright protection, exclusivity or clearance of other people's rights.
4. Content rules and moderation
Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits pornography and NSFW content, violence and gore, hate and harassment, child-unsafe content and CSAM, deceptive or unauthorized deepfakes and impersonation, and copyright or trademark infringement. It also explains automated moderation, reporting, enforcement and appeals. These rules apply to inputs and generated content. We use automated content moderation to identify and block prohibited content; checks can make mistakes and do not establish age, identity, consent or ownership.
Violations may result in rejection, content removal, suspension or termination of service. Serious or repeated abuse may lead to loss of access to remaining credits, subject to applicable law. Removal for a confirmed violation does not itself create a right to a cash refund; billing requests remain subject to our refund rules and your mandatory rights. You can appeal by email.
5. Prices and generation credits
For each output, reference video input costs 35 credits per 10 seconds and video output costs 35 credits per 10 seconds. Both rates are prorated to the reference duration rounded up to whole seconds. Add the two charges without rounding either credit component separately, then multiply by your selected number of outputs. The combined rate is 7 credits per billed second per output. Your character photo and optional prompt have no additional credit charge.
A 10-second reference costs 35 input credits plus 35 output credits, totaling 70 for one video or 140 for two. A 10.144-second reference is billed as 11 seconds, totaling 77 for one video or 154 for two. A 5-second reference costs 35 credits for one video. Before upload, the generator shows a 5-second estimate; after upload, it uses the detected duration. The server verifies the total quote before generation, and the quoted total is not adjusted for any variation in the finished clip's duration.
Our current plans are:

- Growth Pack: $49.99 once for 2,000 credits, valid for 90 days from issue; about 28 ten-second videos.
- Pro Pack: $99.99 once for 5,000 credits, valid for 365 days from issue; about 71 ten-second videos.
- Basic: $9.99 per month for 500 credits per paid billing period; about 7 ten-second videos.
- Pro: $39.99 per month for 2,500 credits per paid billing period; about 35 ten-second videos.
- Max: $99.99 per month for 8,000 credits per paid billing period; about 114 ten-second videos.
Video counts are estimates based on ten-second reference videos; longer videos use more credits. Monthly credits expire at the end of the paid billing period. Review the price, any applicable tax and the total at checkout. Purchases are available only when checkout is open. Listing a plan does not mean purchasing is currently enabled. Waffo Pancake handles checkout and payment processing. Credits are issued after verified payment, not merely after a checkout redirect.
Credits are non-transferable service units with no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money. Subscription credits do not roll over. Future price changes apply to future purchases; the terms and credit expiry attached to a completed purchase continue to apply.
6. Subscriptions and cancellation
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the stated price until canceled. Review the recurring amount and billing interval before authorizing a subscription. To cancel future renewals, email support@shimio.net from your account address with your subscription reference. Cancellation stops renewal and does not itself refund a payment or extend the current credit expiry. Current-period credits remain available until their original expiry.
If cancellation fails, email us with your account and subscription reference. Do not include full card details. A subscription refund and cancellation are separate actions; say whether you also want future renewal stopped.
7. Failed generations and cash refunds
When a task is confirmed failed, including a safety rejection returned as a failed generation, its charged credits are returned once. A connection timeout can leave a task's status uncertain; we check it before deciding whether it failed. Avoid duplicate submissions while an existing task is being investigated.
An entirely unused credit pack is eligible for a full refund requested within 14 days of purchase. The same 14-day rule applies to an entirely unused paid subscription period. Used packs and partly used periods are generally not refundable for a change of mind or dissatisfaction with a completed AI result. Billing errors, non-delivery and mandatory consumer rights are assessed separately. See our Refund Policy for the request process and payment timing.
Returning generation credits is separate from returning money to a payment method. Free or promotional credits have no cash refund value.
8. Storage and privacy
Your account lists tasks and available completed videos. Completed videos in our private storage are kept for up to 30 days and then automatically removed. Download a copy if you want to keep it. Task, billing and credit records have separate retention purposes; deleting a video does not erase those records. Our Privacy Policy explains media processing, service providers, cookies and data requests.
9. Availability, responsibility and changes
Generation depends on external providers, network availability and account funding. We may interrupt or change features for maintenance, safety or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or an error-free AI result. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for Shimio in the preceding 12 months. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
We publish changes here with an updated date. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to completed purchases. Stop using the service if you do not accept revised terms; contact us about an existing purchase or account. No provision removes your right to seek a remedy under applicable law.
10. Contact
Email support@shimio.net. Include the task or order reference and a short explanation. Our target is an initial response within 48 hours; an investigation may take longer, in which case we will explain the next step.
